Biology breaks down, into chemistry, chemistry breaks down into physics. Why didn’t I just start there?
Why is it that in the entire Western world, these substances that have been...

Killed it at the gym today. Feelin’ like a boss. 45 min on the bike at a steady 20 mph, rowing machine for 2500 meters, ran 2 miles. Then an upper body weight work out. ‘Bout to cook up this strip steak, with a side cauliflower and green beans. Scarf that down while enjoy a glass of wine and watching physics documentaries.
My Sperry’s are killin’ me. I got em size 14 but not narrow so I’m sliding all over the place by the heel. Got a blister in the making for sure.
Gunna switch into my gym shoes F this noise.
Of course when I’m in class my dash turns straight into scrotums.
So in my 2 hour break between invertebrate zoology and economic botany I have managed to finish The Road to Serfdom, skim through a couple WSJ’s that I missed this week, and update my Kindle.

Tariffs and tough anti-immigration laws purportedly protect American citizens - poor, lower-skilled individuals in particular - from the “unfair” competition of cheap foreigners. Instead, it...
I wish cigars didn’t make me stink for hours.
NPR in Hampton Roads is way better then what ever I’m getting here in Richmond.
Weekend project
Runnin’ down to Lowe’s to get some supplies to make a version of a Japanese rock garden for my desk. The desk I built is 72” or so across so I have ample room to set up a mini landscape garden.
I was thinking about a 2’x3’ rectangle base, stain it black, fill it with sand and some nifty rocks. Then sink in a mini fountain and pump to keep it flowing on the side and...
The 'Fairness' Fraud →
A Thomas Sowell article from today. “Fair” is definitely one of my least favorite words that gets thrown around all the time in political ideology.
However, raising tax rates on “the rich” pays off politically, even if the government loses revenues when the rich put their money into tax shelters.
High tax rates in the upper income brackets allow politicians to win...

Gotta say, a bit excited that Ron Paul is considering Judge Napolitano for VP.
This would be so awesome.
